The following requirements must be met:
Ordinary Members of the Association are:
a) National federations of the spice industry within Europe and Turkey
b) Individual companies within Europe and Turkey who deal mainly with the processing, packaging and/or placing on the market of herbs, spices and/or spice products (e.g. seasonings) at European level, provided they have full responsibility for their products and market them throughout the EU. Individual companies with multiple legal entities across Europe and Turkey can only have one direct membership. Individual companies must maintain their membership in the national federation, insofar as there is one, or acquire membership in the country where the focus of their business lies. If there is no national federation and more than two companies are active in a country, they should found a national federation.
Associate Members are:
a) National or international federations outside Europe and Turkey and other national agencies involved in spice processing or distribution.
b) Individual companies outside Europe and Turkey who deal mainly with the processing, packaging and placing on the market of herbs, spices and spice products (e.g. seasonings) at European level, provided they have full responsibility for their products.
c) Individual companies within Europe and Turkey who deal mainly with the processing, packaging and/or placing on the market of herbs, spices and/or spice products (e.g. seasonings) within Europe and Turkey.
